Wooden Worktop Restoration

The Wooden Worktop Restoration is a process of sanding the top surface of your wore and torn worktop to bare wood and reseal it with water repellent and dirt resistant food-safe products specially designed for this need.

The restoration process always starts with a detailed observation of the whole area, measuring the moisture content (it needs to be maximum of 18%). The sanding process starts with P60 grid sandpaper up to P150-P240 grid. Then we will clean the worktop with a microfiber cloth and will apply the finishing product.  Each worktop requires at least two coats of protection oil. The first coat is applied with a cloth and the second with a roller or a brush. Second coat dries for up to 8 hours.  It is very important to maintain your worktop properly by recoating it every few months.
