What we were called for:
Original pine floorboards that were under carpet for many years.
How did we restore the pine floors:
First thing first, we removed all the staples (and they were a lot) chaged a board that was damaged by woodworms, fixed a few boards that were loose using the same shape of nails and started sanding the floor with 24 Grid sandpaper. After everything was nice and clean we worked our way trough the P40, P60 and P100 grid sandpaper until we had a very nice and smooth finish. We did some samples and after we confirmed the colour we applied 1 coat of Morrells Medium oak stain and finished with 2 coats of Bona Mega clear satin varnish.
The outcome:
The whole process took 2 days and we are proud to say that the results are amazing. Our client did not believed her eyes when she saw it for the first time.
